Today, i am sharing with you another amazing Valentine’s Day Special Recipe that make your Valentine’s Day even more special. So, today  recipe is  of yummy, delicious, easy Red Velvet Cake With Vanilla Frosting. Without wasting any more time Let’s begin with recipe 🙂

Ingredients for Red Velvet Cake

All ingredients that you need for Red Velvet Cake With Vanilla Frosting are;

Eggs, 2

Sugar, 1 1/2 cup

Butter, 4 ounce

All purpose flour, 2 cups

Cocoa Powder, 1/3 cup

Red food color, 1 ounce

Milk, 1 cup

Vanilla essence, 1 tsp

White Vinegar, 1 tbsp

Salt, 1/2 tsp


Ingredients For Vanilla Frosting

Butter, 1/2 cup

Icing sugar, 1 1/2 cup

Vanilla essence, 1/2 tbsp



5 things to do before cake preparation


1. Preheat Oven

Turn on the oven, to preheat at 180 degree Celsius.

2. Grease Pan

Take a cake pan of about 13 inches. Grease it with butter and dust it with flour. And  invert pan and slightly tap it to remove extra flour from the pan.

3. Sift Powder Ingredients

Sift all purpose flour, cocoa powder and salt. For batter result sift for 2 -3 times.

4. Food Color Mixture

Take a bowl, mix vinegar and food color. Keep it aside.

5. Vanilla Frosting

Take a bowl, add butter beat it until it get smooth.

After that add icing sugar gradually while keep beating.

Add vanilla essence until frosting get fluffy.


Let’s begins with the preparation. 

Now take a large bowl, add butter and sugar to beat.

When they get firmly mixed, add eggs one by one. Beat it until batter get fluffy. After that add vanilla essence.

Fold in all the sifted dry ingredients gradually in the batter. Beat until that not lumps left in the batter.

Add milk but not at once. Add milk slightly to maintain required consistency.

Then add red food color mixture in the batter. And beat.

Pour the batter in the greased pan for about 30 minutes.

When done, take it out and let it cools down.

Further when the cake cool down, remove it from the pan and place it on the wire rack.

Halve the cake and spread the prepared frosting evenly. First on the base halve. then place top halve and frost all over the cake.
